Join us for a warm summer evening with Tomáš Niesner and Shakali performing their latest work in a special double release show.

 SHAKALI 
Combining elements of hypnagogic minimalism, healing ambient and digital folklore, Shakali’s live sets create symbiotically synthetic and organic landscapes performed with a modular synthesizer and acoustic instruments – mainly kantele, a local psaltry instrument from Karelian region in Finland. Shakali’s debut album Petojen tavat (2021) was released by the Finnish label Ikuisuus and his sophomore album Aurinkopari by a precious French label Good Morning Tapes in April 2022. Besides his solo work, you might be familiar with his musical endeavors in projects such as Thistle or Gnäw.

 TOMÁŠ NIESNER 
Tomáš Niesner je mimo jiné polovinou kytarového dua Šimanský Niesner, člen noise rockového tria Vlněna nebo hibernujícího noise metalu Unna. Jeho sólová tvorba zahrnuje poměrně pestrou směs nahrávek čerpajících z elektronických i akustických nástrojů a různých přístupů. Niesnerova aktuální deska Bečvou vyšla začátkem roku na labelu Warm Winters Ltd. a byla velmi kladně přijata kritiky. Koncert bude vycházet z výše zmíněné nahrávky.

Niesner naturally blends both of his faces for the first time, fingerpicking guitar minimalism with an interest in electronic music, to results which feel innovative.
